Challenges

As the largest supermarket network in France, Intermarché thinks of its supply chain as a key competitive advantage. They need to ship fast, adapt volumes to market conditions while maintaining a high level of service. Overflow is a key tool.

In 2021, contacted Spacefill to increase dramatically its storage capacity with a high level of rotation (300%), they needed to activate a solution to secure their overflow challenges that would be both connected and scalable.

Solutions

To meet their need, SpaceFill identified a logistics partner that would strictly adhere to the specifications co-constructed with FDL for their overflow.

To ensure that the operation runs smoothly, Spacefill built an operational management procedure governing the responsibility of each actor involved in the operation, as well as sending a SpaceFill logistics expert directly on site.

Furthermore, inventory, delivery slots and orders are fully managed and centralized in the Spacefill platform.
